Overcharge / over-discharge detection: BMS monitors individual cell voltages in real time and halts charging before safe limits are breached.
Overcurrent and short-circuit protection: Hardware BMS plus a fuse between the BMS and battery pack deliver dual secondary protection against fault currents.
Independent chip acquisition circuit: A dedicated acquisition circuit detects and interrupts short-circuit events at the cell level, separate from main BMS logic.
Temperature monitoring: Built-in temperature probes track cell and PCBA temperature; a safety alarm activates before thermal limits are reached.
Active cell balancing: The BMS equalizes cell voltages actively, maximizing usable capacity and extending cycle performance across 6,000 cycles.
