Ultra-Large All-Black CdTe Solar Glass

Unlock new design potential with our all-black CdTe solar glass—engineered with a 2.79 m² active surface, 17% conversion efficiency, and durable laminated structure. Compared to conventional CdTe modules (1200×600 mm, 85–120W), our ultra-large format (2300×1215 mm) offers nearly 4× the surface area and a significantly boosted power output of 445–505W.

This upgrade not only closes the performance gap with mainstream crystalline silicon modules but also enhances cost-efficiency and visual integration. Ideal for BIPV applications including rooftops, façades, skylights, and industrial buildings—especially in high-temperature or coastal environments where performance and durability are essential.
UPGRADED SIZE
Compared to the standard CdTe panel size (1200×600 mm), the new ultra-large format measures 2300×1215 mm, expanding the active area nearly 4× larger. This makes it ideal for expansive applications like façades, skylights, and industrial rooftops.
UPGRADED POWER
With a rated power output of 445–505W, it not only surpasses the 85–120W of conventional CdTe modules but also reaches the performance level of mainstream monocrystalline silicon modules—boosting system efficiency and reducing cost per watt.

PRODUCT ADVANTAGE

HIGH SAFETY
ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY
SALT-RESISTANT PERFORMANCE
THERMAL STABILITY
High Structural & Fire Safety
The ultra-large CdTe module features a dual-laminated tempered glass structure (3.2 mm CdTe solar glass + 2mm ultra-clear semi-tempered glass) with 0.5 mm EVA interlayer, providing enhanced wind load resistance, impact tolerance, and fire protection. Certified under UL790 Class A and EN 12600 impact resistance, it is ideal for façade-integrated PV systems and high-rise commercial buildings.

Unlike single-glass crystalline silicon panels, CdTe's dual-glass configuration minimizes shattering risks and improves occupant safety—critical for urban BIPV deployment.

Closed-Loop Sustainability & Recyclability
CdTe modules are manufactured via low-material thin-film deposition (<1μm active layer), consuming significantly less energy and raw materials compared to crystalline silicon modules (which involve high-purity silicon ingots, aluminum framing, and soldering).

Moreover, CdTe panels are supported by a closed-loop recycling system, enabling recovery of 100% of materials (glass, CdTe). With metal busbars, they are easier to recycle and meet EU Green Deal and LEED sustainability standards.
Superior Salt Mist & Corrosion Resistance
The frameless, solder-free architecture of CdTe modules eliminates galvanic corrosion and edge seal degradation commonly observed in crystalline silicon panels under salt-laden conditions. Certified under IEC 61701 (Salt Mist Level 6), CdTe is optimized for long-term performance in coastal homes, island microgrids, and marine-industrial rooftops.
Thermal Stability & Low Temperature Coefficient
CdTe exhibits a low temperature coefficient of -0.25%/°C, outperforming crystalline silicon (-0.40~0.45%/°C) in hot climates such as the Middle East and South Asia. Its thin-film nature also reduces hot spot risk, ensuring stable output in high-load applications like industrial rooftops, large-span skylights, and metal structures.

Large-Format CdTe for High-Impact Projects
With a size of 2300×1215 mm, ultra-large CdTe modules reduce module seams and enhance the seamless visual quality of building facades and overhead glazing. Offering 17% conversion efficiency and excellent light transmittance, they are ideal for office towers, shopping malls, and public atriums that demand both aesthetics and solar generation.
For large-scale rooftops like warehouses, factories, and data centers, ultra-large CdTe panels significantly cut installation time and balance-of-system costs. Their superior thermal stability and salt resistance make them particularly reliable in harsh environments—ensuring safe, long-term energy output beyond what conventional silicon panels can deliver.
